Do people even notice that I’m wearing a bra under my shirt or do they even care?

Deera

I always notice.

I notice the faint – or not so faint – outlines of a bra under a shirt, a blouse, a sweater, or even a hoodie (depending on how loose it is).

A bra is very obvious to anyone who takes the time to look.

Your bra straps may also be visible, depending on the top you’re wearing. When a woman is wearing a dress, her bra is part of what gives the dress shape. You’d have to be blind to miss it. A bra is often visible from the side too.

And think about how a bra is made — they’re designed to hold a woman’s breasts, to provide support, and most of them (though not all) aren’t designed to be completely invisible.

Even sports bras can be seen under a shirt – though they’re less apparent than regular bras.

While I don’t stare at other women’s bra outlines, I *do* notice what they’re wearing in general. I will often admire a woman’s outfit and unless I’m squinting with my eyes mostly closed, the outline of her bra is easily visible.

I can see a woman’s bra cups because… think about it… breasts tend to stick out from a woman’s chest and her bra is the packaging. This is simple anatomy.

But do I care? No, of course not. Why should I?
