What are the biggest facepalm moments you have ever experienced?

Deera

This is one of them:

This happened when I was getting my hair done at my beloved beauty salon.

I was sitting there and talking to my hair stylist while he was doing my hair. Then we saw a girl with medium long hair who came asking for a pixie cut. My hair stylist asked his colleague to serve the girl and she repeated the order to him :

“I WANT A SHORT PIXIE CUT”

So nothing special, we were still chatting, her hair was getting done. I was done a while ago and just decided to chat with my hair stylist and have a cup of tea in the salon.

The girl’s hair was perfectly styled in an “Emma Watson” style pixie.

She looked in the mirror for several minutes and said: “I changed my mind, I dont like it anymore, can you return it as it was before?”

My hair stylist almost choked on his tea when he heard that.

UPDATE:

Many people have been asking in the comments what happened next, so I decided to write it here instead of replying to each comment, hope that’s okay 🙂

So after my hair stylist stopped choking on his tea, his friend who has been working on the cut asked: “what do you mean return it?”

The girl looked at him like he was insane and said: “Well I can return a good back to the shop within 14 days and get my money back, I want to return this haircut.” Then we started to ask her if she understands that haircuts are non returnable and she will need to pay money for the work done anyway.

She then refused to pay and started pouting and nearly crying. We were trying to convince her that her new style suits her and is very fashionable, even adorable. After about half an hour we succeeded and she seemed quite happy with it. (I hope)

She paid and left the salon. Right after the guy who was styling her hair said something like:
