King Charles has been kind and hospitable to Harry. When Queen Elizabeth died, Harry was welcome to fly up to Balmoral (no spouses save for Countess Sophie, since she was so very close to the Queen); but Harry was very late in showing up.
Then Harry was welcome to bring his wife and join the new Prince and Princess of Wales on a walkabout to visit with the people in Windsor who wanted to show their love and sadness over Elizabeth’s death. The King permitted Harry to wear his military uniform to the vigil over the Queen, which was incredibly kind after Harry unceremoniously dumped an important memorial held by the Royal Marines, so he could network for Meghan with Disney executives at a premier for The Lion King.
Harry was welcomed to join in the somber walk behind the Queen’s coffin, and then Harry and Meg sat right behind King Charles for the funeral. Harry wasn’t humiliated at all! The royal family invited him to all the events the non-working royals attended, plus he did a walkabout that the others didn’t do.
Harry cannot be a Counsellor of State, if that’s what you’re thinking is humiliation, because Harry no longer resides in the UK. He lives permanently in the U.S. Harry was moved to the bottom on the Royal Website only because the others all work for the monarchy. Harry and Meghan stepped back and away from any royal duties, so they aren’t working royals.
Even when Harry was tested and leaked a false story to his spokesman, Omid Scobie, the family and King didn’t uninvited Harry. They chose not to talk to him much, since Harry leaks private conversations, and that’s called protection. Harry is invited, but he and Eugenie need to stop the leaks. That’s all.
Was Princess Beatrice featured on the Royal Family website? No. How about the lovely Zara Phillips, daughter of Queen Anne? No, she isn’t listed either, though Zara is quite close with Prince William and Catherine. So there is no humiliation going on. The monarchy is simply rearranging certain things that were not taken care of during the late Queen’s rule. Harry is still on the Royal Family website.
Even with Harry playing the petulant and jealous son of King Charles, even with the endless lying and new stories Harry churns out for pity points, Charles has been kind and not addressed these errors in Harry’s memory. Did Harry take too many mind altering drugs? Is he on something that affects his memory? It is Harry who is humiliating himself, with no help needed from King Charles or the rest of the royals.
