They’re supposed to be for good looks, but breast implants saved the life of a woman in Canada.
In a medical journal, doctors described how a silicone breast implant deflected a gun bullet that would have otherwise killed its 30-year-old wearer….
She went to the emergency room after a shooting she had gotten into because she had been shot in the chest.
Doctors could hardly believe how well she was doing.
The bullet entered her left breast, but the woman had a broken rib on her right side. The bullet had been deflected by the implant toward the right side of her chest.
On the left side, however, is the heart.
In the end, the woman only had the bullet wound itself, the broken rib and the damaged implant.
