Problem is that even how much you wipe, you will never get it completely clean! On my side, I wiped and wiped, but the irritation, itching and soreness just increased. Also the warmer and moister the climate, the bigger the problem. You don’t get it sufficiently clean at all!

They have a small shower with a hand pressure valve at the toilet, and on every visit, they carry with them a small towel to dry up clean water from themselves after spot showering before getting up from the toilet seat.
Wise from experience, coming home to the cold north I installed similar, connected to cold water supply. It is now many years ago. I can assure you. From that time on I never got any problem again! I don’t feel cold during showering, I get completely clean, I never buy toilet paper, I use limited water quantities and it works perfectly!
