accidentally found a gold ring worth $4,000 in his plate. It had slipped from the plate to a lady he knew who used to make donations to him, when she was placing five dollars in the donation basket.
The homeless man then returned the precious ring to the wealthy woman, whom he met again two days later at the supermarket where she usually shopped. Because of the woman’s close friends and her prestigious social position, she launched a donation campaign after news of Harris’s return of the ring went viral . As a result, the beggar managed to raise $185,000, all of which was raised through the campaign, as well as a job and decent housing.
