You seriously underestimate the croc. He’s not your average lizard. He will kill you whenever the mood takes him, there ain’t a thing you can do. When a croc ‘snaps,‘ he’ll remove a part of your body. He’s clever enough to know that drowning you stops your struggling. And a croc on a mission is going to kill you. No ‘ifs’ or ‘buts.’ That croc is the last thing you’ll ever see.
He’s a highly tuned, highly efficient killing machine, a mind too primitive to ‘tame’ a lone killer and barely changed in 110 million years. I for one am extremely happy that the croc is untameable. The saltwater croc is a beast! His place in nature should be assured.

The very idea of trying to domesticate this beast is unthinkable, I love the fact we have such… non-conforming beasts in our midst, our ego doesn’t stretch that far.
A saltie will snatch you from your comfortable life in a split second, you won’t see him, but he sees you. Ever seen a saltie? I have, he was a juvenile a mere sixteen feet and his snap was akin to a gunshot, you hear it, you feel it, do you really want to be on the end of it? These guys have no conception of freindship, and when you hear that snap you’ll agree. A saltie is not, nor ever will be ‘tamed’ you’re kidding yourself, it’s blatant arrogance. A saltwater crocodile is your worst nightmare, sure throw him a stick, he ain’t your friend by any stretch. This is a powerful killing machine, he makes no distinction of ‘friendship’ he’ll kill you in a heartbeat. Its what he does. And he’s a fucking monster. I don’t give a fuck with all your videos of croc love, they are the exception never think the exception is the rule. A saltwater crocodile is not matey with you, they maybe used to your presence, but it wont think twice about ripping you in two. This animal is 110 million years in the making, he’s proved himself, what more do you need to know.? This animal is untameable period.
This is a big animal, with lots of teeth, jaws that close like a mousetrap. The saltie is one of the most dangerous creatures on Earth, and a sight to behold. You can try taming him, don’t fancy your chances though.
Edit: I hate having to edit, but it’s necessary. Ok he’s not a dinosaur, but pretty damn close. The point I’m making is that you cannot take the wild out of a croc. His mind is too primitive. Not every creature wants to hug a human, not every creature breaks under our spell. I don’t give a flying flea if he’s your best mate. He’s a wild reptile and a big bugger at that. He’ll turn on you in a heartbeat and not think twice about ripping you apart. As I’ve said countless times, all you’ve succeeded in doing is getting the animal used to human presence. That does not remove his wild instincts nor does it mean you’ve ‘tamed’ him. There’s a reason wild animals still exist, and in fact believing they’re tame is even more dangerous. Complacency around wild animals you think are in some way tamed is a final act. Get caught off guard and you’re done, lets be perfectly clear, a saltwater croc is never going to be your pal. Ive seen a hungry croc, it’s the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed he was sixteen feet of pure menace. And you think he’ll fall for you, not a chance on God’s green Earth.
